VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are many ways within ISM-Twin Cities members can volunteer their time.  Not only is this rewarding, but it is also a great networking opportunity and you can even earn ISM points (1 point or 7 hours per Committee, not to exceed 14 hours per year).

The Committees meet once a month for at least an hour.  The meetings are either in person or via conference call.  Monthly commitment can be anywhere from 1—3 hours.

Below are the Committees you can join:

Professional Development Committee
Supply Chain Management is undergoing dramatic changes driven by a Global Business Environment, enhanced technology, enhanced requirements for clear Communication, and greater expectations for value added outcomes by Supply Chain Professionals.

The Professional Development Team’s focus is to provide educational and networking opportunities for our Membership to build the skill sets required to lead the business changes and innovation strategies within their Organizations.  Opportunities for skill set development include monthly meetings featuring procurement and supply chain management speakers, CPSM certification prep classes, and professional development workshops. We strive to advance the knowledge base of procurement and supply chain professionals and build upon the ISM Mastery Model.
