Membership

ISM-Twin Cities offers a variety of memberships. The dues for new membership in ISM-Twin Cities depend on type of membership. There are six basic types of membership -- Regular, ISM-Twin Cities Corporate, Associate, Trial, Student, and Dual.

Members must log in to renew online.  Click on the Member Area link at the top of your screen.  Once you are logged in, the Member Dues link is to the left in the dark blue section.

Eligibility

  • Any person interested in the supply management field shall be eligible to be a member of an Affiliated Association provided that such person does not solicit business on behalf of such person or his or her employer during meetings of any activity.
     
  • An editor, business manager, or secretary employed by an Affiliated Association shall not be affected by reason of sales activity directly related to any magazine, bulletin or other publication, or exhibit, product, show or similar activity sponsored by such association.
     
  • A person with a full-time appointment as a teacher, research specialist, department head, director or dean of a college, university, or other academic institution whose academic responsibility includes purchasing management or other related fields or subjects.
     
  • An undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full time in an accredited community college or four-year university.
     
  • A person who is engaged in the business of providing consulting services primarily in the field of purchasing management and materials management on the condition that such person does not solicit members of an affiliated association for consulting engagements.

  • ISM Volume Discount Membership
    Fifty (50) or more employees in one company.  Contact ISM at 1-800-888-6276 x8 for more information.


  • Dual Membership
    This may be afforded to individuals who meet the same criteria as Regular Members. Dual Members may vote and hold office. Dual members shall hold regular membership in ISM through one affiliated organization. If ISM membership is held through ISM-Twin Cities, the dues shall be the same as for Regular Members. If ISM membership is held through another affiliate as evidenced by a copy of the ISM membership card, dues shall not include ISM - related dues.  Contact the ISM-Twin Cities office at 651-482-7704.
