Presentation Overview:  Join us for a brief presenation and discussion on what anticipated risks may be added to the collective plate of supply chain professionals for consideration as the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, our speaker will share thoughts around how the robust supply chain transparency element of an enterprise Corporate Social Responsibility program could help offset some of these emerging risks, or at least help us to be prepared for them.

Speaker:  Scott Weislow, Sr. DIrector of Enteprise Risk Management, The Marvin Companies

Speaker Bio:  Scott Weislow is the Senior Director of the Enterprise Risk Management team for the Marvin Companies, a windows and doors manufacturere based in Warroad, MN.  Marvin has multiple locations across the United States and Canada.  In this capacity, Scott's team is responsible for designing, building and leading enterprise programs in risk management, employee safety, environmental compliance, transportation safety & compliance, insurance & loss control, security, business continuity & crisis response, maintaining a violence-free workplace, and property loss control.  Much of the team's focus in 2020 was COVID-19 related.

Weislow has extensive experience in rhe risk management, insurance, environmental, health, safety, sustainability, tranportation, and operations-focused fields.  Most recently, he served as Vice President, Risk Management & Environmental, Health and Safety for Marsen Services, a privately held, Minnesota-based company.  He has held similar senior risk management positions at Best Buy, Tennant, and Toro.  He has more than 31 years of experience at the domestic and global levels.

Cost:  This seminar is free for ISM members and the cost is $25 for non-members.  Registration is required to attend.
